Default Tyre pressure for track day.

My manual says 37 p.s.i in each corner.

If I wanted to use the F on a gentle track day, is there a pressure that I should be putting in?

I guess less, to allow for heat build-up.

Is there a magic formula to work out the sweet spot for tyre pressures or is it a bit hit and miss?

Its all matter of preference. There's too many variable. Tarmac temperature. Ambient temperature. Cool down between sessions. Some people prefer running higher PSI in the front than the rear and vice versa. Your best bet is playing with the tire pressures and finding what works for you.

what tires are you running? there's a few threads on this. try searching for the full details, but short answer is if you are running the factory pirellis then low 30s COLD.

Thanks - To answer your question, yep, OEM P0's.

Temps: UK, cold, tarmac cold, wet, and cold...and wet ;-)
Why would you run higher in the front?

Running a higher pressure in the front can reduce oversteer. To sum it up:

Other way around: it reduces understeer. (key on a heavy car)
