Hello all -
I discovered this small, white, socket near my battery's positive terminal when I replaced the dead factory battery a few days ago. I could not see anything that this could possibly attach to, so I and seeking the wisdom of the forum to help solve the mystery. Probably something simply I am overlooking?

This has been covered many times. Search function is your friend. This is only used during transport from England and is normal.

Thanks. I did do a search first and found several threads about unused plugs/sockets all over the car. I did not find one that matched my location/image. Maybe I missed it.

Bottom line seems to be it's not of concern.
