Default Unofficial F-Type Spotting Thread

It's "unofficial" since I have no formal admin powers around here
Seeing that our cats are still pretty rare, thought it might be fun to do a spotting thread. Guidelines:

- Must post photo (cannot just say you saw a F-Type)
- No dealer spotting (no fun in taking a photo at the dealership)

I'll kick things off with a back dated photo from early May in San Francisco Union Square. Too bad he didn't know about the Sto-n-Show plate holder

I kinda already started this thread before with the added challenge of parking next to them.

To this day, mine is only the third F-Type I've seen in the wild.

Yes, you did, and it seems to only work in SoCal, which makes it a challenging thread to keep alive. In the rest of the world, sightings are few and far between.

I have quite a few non-parked next to sightings on my phone. Never bothered to upload them. We are becoming quite the presence in SoCal.

Edit: Of course that doesn't stop me from taking photos every time.

Not yet, I thought I saw you on Lincoln the other day but it turned out to be a black coupe R.

You'll know it's me... I've got Forgestar CF-5V wheels in piano black on it now. Also the Auto Talent dead plate.

I'm on the lookout for you anytime I'm in Venice, too.

None in this area that I see except an occasional dealer car...and that's how I like it.

I could have bought a C7 if I wanted to see one on every corner...

Santana Row in San Jose. Part of the 100|OCT Rally thing. Don't think he's a member on the forum. Very clean looking vert.

Mine also has the CF mirror caps, CF wrap on the aero and vents, and the white bit below the rear diffuser, and of course no advertising/stickers, but yeah... looks like a nice ride.

Bah. I didn't even think to grab a photo the other day. Ran across one around the block from my house and got pretty excited. Even here in the bay area they seem pretty uncommon. I've run across 2 (1 driving, the other parked in front of an appliance store) - I'm averaging 1 spotting a week.

White v8 convertible at DMV.

Looks like he got the side skirts wrapped white.

While commuting into work this morning, I ran across a base F-Type Coupe in BRG over Camel. This was in San Francisco along 4th street near Moscone. I was trying to get a photo but traffic wasn't cooperating.

That is the first F-Type that I've seen "in the wild" that wasn't either part of a car event or a dealer test drive.

incidentally, I know many folks don't like the switch to the colored side skirts, but I thought the white wrapped side skirts on the vert looked pretty good. I'm a little tempted to see what it'll look like on my car to go all white...
