With Valves open the VAP system will drone at highway speeds, just like no muffler at all, since the exhaust by-passes the muffler. No drone at all if the valves are closed. Mash the throttle and the valves open regardless of switch setting.

Hmm... Makes me want to install electric cutouts on the factory muffler and see where that goes...
