Can we get any further performance and/or upgrade ideas from the 3.0 v6 SC engines in the Audi S4/S5 (or any other Audi car labelled as having a 3.0"T" engine)?
APR are managing to pull out around 440HP and 375TQ with that engine using a tune and 455HP and 395TQ using a tune and pulley (their engines use the same TVS1320 supercharger).

Major Gripe!
Very frustrating: Can anyone share with me why almost all of the pulley vendors refuse to offer actual dimensions on their products? All you can get is: "25 more hp", or "1.7psi more boost", or "increase to 11 psi boost". They make the same claims for the V6 as they do for the V8, even though we know that's impossible.
Thank you VMax for being the exception, as you have been willing to share the proposed diameter increases on the crank pulley. No one else has been forthcoming: ETG, RDE, Mina, Paramount, Eurotoys, etc. Also, none of these folks acknowledge that the V6 upper pulley is already smaller than the V8 pulley.

I think I went over that some of that information with you. I believe our lower pulley kit is 11% larger than the OE pulley, but will confirm next week. I know we only have 1 lower kit fitted to a 3.0 S/C Jaguar, but probably 40-50 have been fitted to 5.0L's. Keep in mind that the lower pulley kits really need to be combined with ECU tuning to achieve full boost.
Here is the dyno sheet provided to us by the shop that fitted our lower pulley kit and tuned the car (their own tuning). However, this does not do me much good since it does not state what the car is on the form.
This shop is located in the UAE and communication with them is challenging. Hard to complain though since we have been dealing with them for a few years now on these.
BTW, I am checking on the requirements for becoming a vendor with the help of JIMC.

1 step forwards and 2 steps back. Another difference between the V8 and V6 that nobody has been aware of: The V8 crank pulley may be 1/4" smaller diameter than the V6 in addition to having an upper pulley that is 5/32" larger diameter than the V6. So again, any claims of increases only apply to the V8, not the V6.

The bottom pulley is listed as a "crankshaft damper" in the parts catalogue and they are the exact same part for the 5.0L and the 3.0L, p/n AJ811549 and they are also the same on the 5.0L and 3.0L Land Rovers, p/n LR011972, both the Jag and the Land Rover part numbers cross to the engineering p/n 9W83-6316-BA so it's the same on all.

Can you confirm that goes for the 2016 models as well? If you are able to, then it's clear that means we have some options for the V6 (and a few folks I've been talking to don't know how to use a caliper).
Also, if anyone with an R can get it up on a lift to measure their lower pulley diameter, it would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.

In the next couple of weeks I will try to get the car up on a lift and will measure that lower pulley with a caliper gauge. It's hard to believe anyone's measurement could be off by a quarter inch, but I guess anything is possible. I hope you are right. Then I'll be back on track again with my tuning project.

I will find out from my machinist on what the correct way is to measure. Wrapping a string around the pulley and then measuring it will give you circumference and dividing by pi should tell you the diameter at the base of the grooves.
Again, we looked into this years ago on the 5.0 and then again when the 6 came out. They said it was the same part # for the 6 & 8, so that is far as we looked into it after that.

OEM V6 upper:62mm
OEM V8 upper: 66mm (exact measurement not confirmed, but certainly close)
Typical aftermarket upper: ~60.5mm (as small as you can go without binding on the SC housing)
OEM (V6 & V8) lower:159mm

This also confirms more or less that the 3.0 cars have the 1320 compressor.
Based on this and a combination of a 20mm larger lower pulley and a 60.5 upper, I would guess the 5.0 cars can come close to 700 hp and the 3.0 close to 460 hp (pending possible other mods as well, it may even go higher)
