Default V8-S for $2K?

Clearly a wrecked car but the interior, engine and drive train look to be clean. Tempted to get this and then try to use the interior parts to update my older XKR. Given I just finished doing this my wife would likely shoot me. But if you want an F-Type for parts this would be tempting.

Kind of sad that it got wrecked before it even got to 6K miles.

Current offer $15'600...and it's a V6S, not a V8...

Looks very fixable to my eyes but, then, I know nothing about body work and do not see under the pictures for possible chassis damages. I am sure that there is an army of qualified body shops, specializing in salvage fixes, looking at this for a quick buck.

Looks like a V6 S, which would be a very desirable model.

Cambo, the OP seems to have posted the wrong link. I think he's talking about this car, which was 1 car down from the V6S.

Heck, for $1350 just the 3 salvageable wheels would be worth it. Cheap Spare if you curbed yours.

I put in the right link and it truncated and took you to the wrong car, but if you looked below it the link to the V8S was right below. I should have shortened the link sorry. Tempting though huh?

Here is the link shortened to the V8. http://bit.ly/1BTyZxV

Why do you think the red one was totaled?

You're right that it didn't look all that bad, except the rear end was rather flattened, and it was probably written off with a badly bent frame.

The red car has been kicked around a bit. I know of the car and the seller. It is back up for auction today. I'm not sure what has happened to the car since the summer when it was offered to me.
