I've always found that the computed mileage of many manufacturers are over optimistic by at least a couple of miles. Do it the old fashion way by math. I get 345 miles to 16 gallons = 21.5 mpg mixed hwy 70% and city 30% traffic.
it's been a while since I've checked my mpg, but I think high 20s was the best I could get cruising on the highway at around 70-75 mph.

Don't forget, guys. Tel is using a bigger gallon than you are (imperial).
doh! that makes sense. yes, if I cruise conservatively on the highway then I can get about 31 mpg british. if you wife is skinny, it's downhill and there's a tail wind...35 mpg might be possible!

This matches with what I have been seeing so far on my V8R, 22ish mpg with a 70/30 mix of highway to street.
You'd be amazed at the difference in gas mileage cruising at 55 mph and being very gentle with the pedal vs. 70mph with rapid acceleration. Of course, I don't like doing the former either, but it is amazing. It's the way test drivers obtain the high numbers the rest of us never duplicate in the real world.
