I almost made a mistake. I totally forgot there's the valvetronic exhaust. Was going to go with just the Touring xpipe. Thanks guys!

Yep.
The same crank pulley is used for the V6 and V8.
There is no point going for a smaller SC pulley on the V6 as the OEM pulley is already nearly as small as you can go and the smaller pulley makes SFA difference, as the Unhingd one has explained a few times,
However a smaller SC pulley makes a big difference on the V8, roughly the same as the larger crank pulley.
It's just that as you implied it's very hard to get the OEM SC pulley off without a specialised puller tool (and I've searched, non-one but no-one sells or lends out such a tool for the AJ133SC in Oz) and hacking into the pulley to get it off risks damaging the snout. And of course once you hack the pulley it is destroyed and you can't revert to stock without buying another pulley. Last but not least there are a few reports of the SC snout having to be heated a lot before the new pulley will go on which also can be risky.
Muuuch easier (and easily reversible) just to go with a larger crank pulley. Yes it costs about twice as much as a snout pulley but you save much of that back on labour.

yep you nailed my thoughts on the pulley removal

a crank can be swapped over much easier/reverted back to stock if/when required

i'm assuming were at a point in aftermarket now where these crank pulleys are perfectly balanced and won't cause any issues

There were some initial reservations about the crank pulley balance (both the VAP and Eurotoys aluminium alloy ones at least which are virtually identical) due to their lightness, but I have never seen or read of any report of poor balance.
On the contrary a few here, me included, have reported how the alloy pulley runs smooth as a baby's bum and feels even smoother than the OEM steel pulley.

Never a problem from day one. The only issue has been making certain to get the right pulley for the right vintage engine. Those two pulleys have slightly different belt offsets.
