Default VAP tune+crank pulley V6 dyno?

There are dynos of the VAP tune and VAP tune + both pulleys on VAP site, but no dyno VAP with tune + crank pulley only. Did anybody tested this setup?
Thanks!

The other pulley doesn't really add anything on a V6 so it won't be any different.

Well I hoped it will be better, since the both pulleys reach out of breath at the top end. I am hoping for the peak power being later at 7000 rpm or something.

If you read through the tuning threads, many of them referencing the stock V6 upper pulley already pretty much being optimal. In short, the dyno shouldn't really show any difference other than typical variances of dynos that naturally happen.

yeah I know but I want to see that "optimal" dyno . If one pulley is optimal than the dyno with both pulleys are not optimal and they will show different curves.

There is no such thing as an "optimal" dyno.

It is your wording and I think you know what I mean.

I suspect the power & torque peaks will be similar but the engine speed at which they occur will be lower with both pulleys.

Sorry- A little off-topic. Can some recommend a performance shop, in the NY tri-state area, who could do VAP and other work? I live in lower Fairfield County Connecticut. I had plenty of shop options with my German cars and APR upgrades, but I can’t find any Jag places that handle modern day cars. Thanks

Try looking for any high performance or race shop. The tune flash anyone can do (even you), and any competent performance shop can change the pulley. My performance shop specializes in BMWs and Porsches.

Soon i will start upgrading the car and track progress on a dyno, issue is that isn't so clear the correct procedure also most videos out there shows gear changing/ kickdown during WOT (?!) confusing...

Some points been thinking, probably wrong, please help me out:

-Measurement should be done on gear ratio most closed to 1:1 so 6th gear?
-Dynamic mode ON, Manual ON, and DCS Full OFF?
-To avoid kickdown, deactivated switch under gas pedal?
-Open hood for better ventilation
-And don't forget strap car really good

Yep, all that is correct except deactivating the kickdown switch is a lot of stuffing about and instead what works best is to gradually ease the go pedal down instead of stomping on it.

Sorry again the offtopic, but if pedal is not WOT from start, will the measurement considered valid as torque lines will probably be smoother?

Just put the car in dynamic and sport then it will just bounce off the rev limiter.

Hey everyone - my VAP Tune is on the way! Just wondering if there are instructions on how to download the OEM file and where to send the file via email (specific email address, etc.)?

Also, I’m very interested in the crank pulley as well but not really sure where I could get this done. Would a regular garage be able to install the new pulley or would I need to seek out a performance shop?

I’m located in Maryland and close to the DC/Baltimore area. Thanks in advance!
