VAP tune and pulley - Belt slipping
#21
Not sure if this in the same region of belt slip but my crank pulley belt is shredded (currently waiting for flatbed). I got the The crank pulley upgrade on my v6 and I wanna believe it was the right belt from vap per vin provided but any thoughts on where to go from here, is this belt something I can buy local or is it a custom belt?
You did not get sent the correct belt, it was too tight and that's why it would have been damaged.
As of end of November last year we have the belt identification 100% resolved, have been trying to identify anyone who might have had the wrong one but 99% of the time this was identified at time of install, and we had a very small number of customers affected. The new belt will 100% resolve the issue, and we should not have any issues at all moving forward.

I believe we have emailed back & forth this morning (not 100% sure because I can't match your username to real name.)
