In my F-Type R 2017 Coupe AWD, what is the Variant and what is the Version?

 

Version is time dependent (successive) so probably refers to model years.
Variants are: 2.0, base, S,R, SVR, RWD, AWD, AT, MT, Coupe, Vert, etc, ( as offered up as separate builds on the website).

That would be my understanding, anyway.

In what context are you seeing these terms?

 

The 10th digit of your VIN identifies the model year ... G - 2016, H - 2017, J - 2018, K - 2019, L - 2020.
