Are these discount only available in the US? What about the UK, through vendors like David Appleby etc.

Will I notice a difference with just a tune? Or is the pulley absolutely necessary?

what about a tune and the 200cell cat/down pipes (and no pulley)?

You will notice the tune alone, although without knowing what F-Type variant you have it's difficult to say how much.

Peer review says you will indeed notice, although I'm sure your starting output will dictate your experience somewhat. I imagine for instance a F type R owner will experience greater results than I will in my svr, as I am starting from a higher output, and we will end up at the same point.

I'm not expecting a tremendous kick in the pants tune, but I do expect smoother and more responsive power throughout the rev range, and a vicious sound from the downpipes. I say do the tune+downpipes at the least!

Yes...Will definitely notice either way. SVR starts 25 HP higher than R...All V8's end up the same...Here is a comparison of their data (VAP). All significant gains!

DC

Just Tune on 5.0:
STOCK = 495, 510, 550, 575BHP —-) TUNED = 605BHP
STOCK = 461, 502, 517FT/LBS —-) TUNED = 542FT/LBS

Tune and Lower Pulley on 5.0:
STOCK = 495, 510, 550, 575BHP —-) TUNED = 645BHP
STOCK = 461, 502, 517FT/LBS —-) TUNED = 597FT/LBS

Great! You will love them! I am about 1/2 way through a DIY with photos etc. for the Cat/DP install. Hope to finish tonight/tomorrow, so may help with your install.

I just ordered the Transmission Tune also as that is about the only thing I did not have yet! Not interested in the upper pulley as it is a negligible increase at best, and quite a pain to install (IMO).

Good luck!

thanks for the replies everyone. Mine is a V8R
Didn’t know the pulley added that much! Wow. I think I’m going tune and pulley and skip the down pipes

edit. I assume you’re talking about the lower crank pulley that’s $7xx on sale

Another question

when Ordering the tune, there are 2 selectable options.

1. select OE supercharger pulley (black or silver) says selecting incorrect will result in damage. Also have the option of none.

2 select supercharger pulley (only one option)

What do I need to do here?

Do you have a V6 or V8? Selecting no pulley for the V6 will get you the tune and flash device only. If you select one of the pulley options you will get the larger crank pulley, belt and tune/flash device. V8 looks like you can get tune only, or s c. pulley, crank pulley or all of the above.

Your option 1 is the crank pulley and there were two types which is why you need to make sure you select the correct one.

If you are going to upgrade only one pulley then option 1 gives you the biggest boost but add option 2 if you want even more power!

You will definitely notice a improvement with the tune alone, but the pulley takes the power to a whole other level.

Yes. Lower pulley / Crank pulley. You have to look to see if your OEM is Black or Silver to get the correct replacement. You select your (OEM)pulley co!or, tune, and flash device...you will get a stage II ecu tune, a crank pulley, a new belt, and a flash tool.
