Thanks for that, so each pipe is near 4.5". They dont look that big, the rear rectangular tail pipe trim on mine is 9.25" x 4"

The V6 tailpipes are 55mm o.d. The exhaust tips are 110mm o.d.

Just purchased the f type 2.0.

i got all the options I wanted except the loud button on the exhaust. Great deal in fact.

I asked the dealer if there was any possibility they could add it. They said it was impossible!

Is that True? I have not been able to find much about the difference between the two exhausts. I am handy. Owned a 63 MGB for twenty years.

Options today? Or must I be patient here. Not much information I can find.

Stuart at Velocity AP can line you up with a remote controlled feature to open and close the valves. It won’t be integrated with the car’s computer logic.

Default But once you look inside ....

Once you look inside that single you will see it’s actually two that only are covered to look like a single . Inside the single you see the double holes

Yeah, I know, pipes needs cleaning. Car hasn't had its first spring wash yet.

Hey Everyone,

I've been following this thread for the past few months. Was anyone able to confirm that the VAP V6 exhaust will fit on the 4 cyl?

I have a 4cyl OEM exhaust on it's way here so we can evaluate.

I have a SuperSprint one on order for my 2.0 but if you guys test it out and it fits, or one gets made that fits I'll swap to that. The SuperSprint one is set to be delivered to me in September.

Hey Powerhouse! I've been to a few shops to do exactly that and most believe it wont change the sound drastically or in a good way. I've seen your videos and it does look and sound good from what I can tell. While I understand it will never sound like the v6 or v8, I'm aiming for a sound and performance increase that will do the car true justice and I'm not sold yet on chopping off the back box just yet.

If its performance it will do nothing, ive had 6 jaguars now and have had few V6s and V8s my last been an xkr basically same engine as the 5.0 F-type so no all about power and noise, performance youll get nothing, waste off time thinking about that, as for sound as you said it will never sound like a v6 or v8 full stop. Best 2.0 turbo noise from any car with modified exhaust is the merc amg 45, i did my mod because for 1, no one had a exhaust system made and 2, cant see any rear made box doing any better, you just have to remember its; just a 2.0 and turbo effects noise, only option with performance is a map like race chip, you can fit a v6 box with a bit of pipe modification, hangers are the same, only you have just one exhaust valve , if you have the active exhaust, have mine now just over 2 years and know the ins and outs of it and what the 2.0 engine is capable of. The only way to get the big bangs and pops is cat delete and remap, on performance wise, not worth the hassle for a remap, remember its a 2.0, O yes on the chopping off of the exhaust, you dont need to do anny chopping, it just come off with 2 clamps and off hangers, all I had to do was get 2 pipes fabricated and 2 exhaust tips, good luck with your modifications if you do them, but as I said IMO I would stay away from any tuning, exhaust thats ok

Have you had the chance to do the evaluations on the 4 cylinder OEM exhaust?
