That would be a suitable belt for a earlier VIN like yours, but if the car is later, it will be far too short. Bearing in mind the OEM belt lengths are 1412mm for the early cars and 1438 for the late ones after the tensioner changed. That belt number is also not considered an 'HD' belt. I'm sure it works and I haven't heard of failures but just worth considering.

Stuart, thanks for the clarification. That belt definitely is not a heavy duty belt, but has worked well under heavy duty for the last 30,000 miles. Do you happen to know the cutover VIN when the longer belt is needed?

Still a major problem for us Oz mob though - the Scuderia Autoart page is still useless with zero trace of F-Type tunes, pulleys, exhaust options etc etc.
But I s'pose it's not easy for you to get Scuderia to update their pages and you would only be losing a handful of sales at most with the existing set-up.
Yeah, agree. Do us Aussies really have to purchase via Scuderia Autoart? PM me answer if it may be sensitive....

Stuart, since we established the pulley will fit and the issue is now only finding out which belt to get this would be a truly helpful bit of information. Then I can order either the short, long , or Xtra long belt. I will be staying with the stock s/c pulley. TIA 🤗. Btw....those colder plugs on the VAP webpage for the 5.0 ....would those also fit the 3.0 engine??? I am assuming yes?

Just finished installing the tune + Pulley on my 2016 V6 S AWD

I was always a little hesitant to do any tunes with worries about reliability. But after doing research and finding out the V6 is the exact same block as the V8 just with two cylinders removed (bore etc) I figured if the same block can handle SVR Power then the tune should do no harm.

The power increase is very noticeable with both the TUNE & Pulley. Totally worth it.

I had the tune by itself on first & the car was running very rich. However I'm assuming the tune was made specifically for the Pulley in mind. If you are thinking about doing this. Get both, the torque is what really makes a difference in speed and feel.

As for fuel economy but thats probably just because of my lead foot

No, the plugs aren't the same for the 3.0L.

If you email info@velocityap.com with your VIN we can advise you which belt would fit best.

It's not sensitive at all. Yes, we have a distribution agreement for Australia with Scuderia Autoart. If you're not finding what you need effectively on their website, I would suggest giving them a ring and they will be able to process the order.

*Alert*

If anyone has replaced/upgraded the front heat exchanger and no longer requires the stock unit for an F-Type, please get in contact with me, we're in search of a good used unit for a project in development.

Been waiting for this all summer!!!! Hope it is worth the wait. Your tunes are just solid!!! Would never even think of going with another tuning outfit. Hopefully there will be something available on Black Friday for those of us who already have the OBDII module. I just need your tune files.....hehehe

100% on my manual 2016 V6-S, my fuel mileage improved day to day and under heavy foot driving once the tune settled in.

Not an FType but interesting and relevant nonetheless. Our dealer in the Ukraine approached us to see if we could support them with an AJ133 5.0 swap into an XE (which incidentally I had been talking to Chris about before the Project 8 came out...) Of course we jumped at the opportunity. This car was set up with our upper and lower pulley and then datalogged to ensure everything was correctly integrated. Despite being 400lbs heavier than an FType, they were still able to get the car into the 10's!

very interesting! As most F-types with a tune and dual pulley seem to be in the low 11’s what are they doing differently to reach the 10’s with 400 extra pounds?

That's funny. I actually took my F-Type to the strip for the first time ever today and after I uploaded my best run on Dragy, I saw this slip and wondered what the story behind this car was. Side note, very cool seeing some of the posters from this board on the Dragy leaderboard. Benefit of having a more niche brand I suppose.

It's a good question. This car has our Transmission tuning as well, which we've seen benefit of around 0.2 seconds, but it also set this time on Cup2 tires on the road (not on a prepped strip) in something like 7 degrees Celcius. So possibly this car is capable of running mid 10's on a prepped strip with a warmer surface.

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but does the ECU tuning work on the MY21 range of engines? I bought the P450 version (450hp V8) back in March but it seems rude to 'strangle' the engine like this when it's capable of so much more!

Thanks in advance
