VelocityAP Jaguar F-Type ECU Tuning, V6, V6S, V8S, V8R

Keep in mind that in street driving, it's pretty hard to live in the high rpm/peak power band for more than a relatively small percentage of your driving time. Making more torque available lower in the rpm range greatly enhances the fun quotient.

F-type has a few different models but only ever had 2 typed of engines that were supercharged.. Yet all have different outputs but same powertain for displacement...its not a first, other manufacturers do the same thing. Mclaren, Aston Martin..etc

Thank you for the explanation. I'm still learning and learning a lot. Yea I will pretty much only be doing street driving with maybe a track day or two "Hopefully".. I just want to be able to enjoy the car the much more and test the peak of its performance. You know how it is all everyone/dealerships push to everybody is HP and maybe torque. I want to have fun and enjoy the car in the twisty back mountain roads. I figured I would start on this one, then move onto the Type R in a couple years. I'm really excited to get this tuned to see what kind of performance increase it has, it's already a blast to drive. =)

This is what 90% of customers will want for sure and what my current VelocityAP tune delivers. The low end torque is greatly improved. The top end power is increased a bit, but we are saving the big bump for when the appropriate mods are in place.

I just got my tune from VelocityAP and if you're on the fence about going for it, you should take the plunge. My V8 S is a lot more responsive now throughout the whole RPM range; the car pulls a lot harder. BTW: with the programmer, the whole thing is a snap and only takes a few minutes.

Some cool news for you guys. Dyno results from a 2016 AWD 'R' with our tune & pulley - I don't have the before numbers yet, and the dyno operator said they will send me the dyno sheets (how many times have I heard that story LOL!) but both customer and dyno operator confirmed that the car made 549WHP on a DynoJet.

I recently received my V-Tech handheld and took the plunge adding the Velocity Stage One tune to my 2016 R and all I can say is, "Wow"!
First thing I noticed was that the exhaust note was richer with a lot more snap crackle and pops. Not sure if the O2 update people are talking about was done to my car prior to my taking delivery back in October, because it never seemed that loud and crazy, but the sound is totally different after the tune.
And man, does it pull hard now... the torque feels much improved in the low range. Regular driving mode is more like Dynamic and Dynamic really throws you back in the seat. It's a just what this car needed to make it a little better and increase the fun quotient.
The install process was a breeze too. Many thanks to Stuart and his team for the quick and attentive service.
