Default VelocityAP springs

New Velocity springs installed a couple weeks ago. Looks great (to me), ride is nice and firm, less body roll at turn-in. Overall very pleased and worth the wait.

Thank you for sharing. That's awesome news and glad to see you're enjoying them. If you don't mind me asking roughly how long did the installer take to install and roughly how much?

Thank you

I don't know how much time it took, but it cost me $525 to install a set of lowering springs.

Stuart had told my guy 2hrs per corner, ergo 8 hrs. My guy said it took a little less but that 2 hrs had been a good estimate.

I am hugely surprised every time body roll and F-type is mentioned. What are you doing with the car for it to become an issue? Pro-league slalom?

Me too. I do a lot of hard cornering, and I just don't see body roll as an issue at all, at least on a base, with it's extremely firm, non-adjustable suspension. I know it has different springs and dampers than an S, and many have suggested that it's firmer, perhaps too firm, but I haven't had enough experience to confirm whether there is a significant difference or not.

I guess I'm comparing to my 911 TT which had coilovers and a set up for track days. That chassis didn't budge! The stock suspension wasn't bad but it did move around a bit. Never mentioned it was an issue, only that it has abated w/ the new set up. The new springs are an improvement.

8 hours is roughly what my spring install took with the alignment.

Velocity - is there any chance of developing adjustable camber arms for the car?

Anything is possible.... but it wasn't on my list. Are you concerned about going outside of factory specs with a lowering spring?

I'm not that worried about it, but would be nice to correct the camber and have the ability to adjust it when lowering the car. RCAs would be nice too but probably even less of a market for that.

Spirited driving onto or off of freeway ramps will expose the excessive lean as you approach and exceed the 1g mark.

Not needed. There is enough adjustment in the front to dial into the outer limits of the OEM spec. On the rear, the camber naturally will come in a hair over OEM specs, just where you want it to be for maximum traction. After 3k miles , no excessive inside tire wear. In fact, the outside is still wearing faster than the inside on the front.
