Default VelocityAP valved ehaust going in!!

WOOT!!!

Finally got the exhaust in today. Took my guy about 2.5 hours, but he hadn't pulled a jag apart before and we were BSing a bit. Any DIYer with the right tools could do this. The biggest PITA is taking off the rear skirt (lots of little screws and tabs) and swapping the hangars. It's all pretty straight forward though.

Unfortunately, one of the vacuum canisters was damaged in transit, so we left the vacuum lines unplugged on both sides. I.e. I'm running what are essentially straight pipes from the cats 24/7 right now.

The sound is pretty amazing. It's loud and mean. More of a growl vs. the bark the stock had. I'm looking forward to seeing what it sounds like with the valves closed. The way Stuart designed it, I think that I may actually prefer running around town closed. We'll see.

Until I get the vids loaded, here are some pics so you can see the differences.

Ok.. I think this will do OK if it's not compressed too much.

Ya, we are pretty lucky to have such great cars.

I think the VAP tune does some pretty cool stuff to the sound with the stock exhaust. The VAP exhaust seems to refine and amplify it. It's hard to tell in the vid, but it is quite a bit louder.

The tips look really good too!

Happy to do it when the rain lets up again. Rain Going to start tomorrow. I'm East Bay and pretty easy on the schedule side.

I'd love to get a stock and mine start up at the same time with video behind them. The VAP is either getting louder or is louder than I thought. I started it today so friends could hear it. We had to move 15' to the side so we were not yelling.

Hello Boys & Girls.

We're just starting a new production run of these V8 Valved systems to replenish stock. If anyone wants their name put down for one, let me know.
