Default Vibration on slight left turn

A plea for help… as noted before I am by no means a mechanic so would appreciate any help.

Getting a slight vibration through the steering wheel above 30mph when turning the steering wheel left ever so slightly. Vibration disappears when more lock applied. No issues turning right.
So far:
- 4 wheel balancing and alignment done
- front suspension bushes replaced
- garage has checked brakes, suspension, wheel bearings and can’t find anything. Vibration did reduce slightly after the balancing, alignment and bushes were done.

any ideas?
2014 V6 34k miles.

Have they checked the steering?

not specifically. Going to make myself sound stupid here but what the hell… what exactly would be checked? Power steering pump, fluid? Is there anything to do with alignment within the steering column ?

Well thank you for the suggestion! I’ve seen your input on many threads so I appreciate it.

perhaps someone else has an idea as I’ve got nowhere else to go at the moment !

Perhaps you could check runout of the right-front wheel and tire assembly.(the wheel, check the INSIDE of the rim) If you can't discern any issues, try swapping the fronts L>R, see if anything changes. (Yes I know, many tires are directional, its just a diagnostic)

Could be a shifting tire belt, if not a bent rim.

Don’t know if an issue with tie rod ends could cause that?

If you're sure the vibration was reduced after the work was done, I would chase that area. Were Jag bushings used? OEM is great, but just to eliminate possible parts. Maybe re torque the bolts on the affected side? Maybe check the wheel seating against the hub?

Thanks for the suggestions, genuinely helpful. I’ll take off the front wheels and have a look further. May switch around fronts to test this further. Good point on re-torq bolts.

Yes OEM bushes were used and it definitely helped but the bushes/alignment/balancing was done at the same time so unsure what was the benefitting piece of work! Vibration reduced by around 50% I think but still annoying as it stands.

Need to wait for some better weather and will update. Might be weeks/month away!
