mmm, any power increase should make the exhaust louder, just a matter of physics as every BHP produced has an element of energy that is lost as noise, therefore an increase in engine power must increase noise. if it doesn't, then i would suspect that the increase is not what you are claiming or none existent

I hope the OP does before/after dynos runs, having some sound level measurements would be nice too.

My understanding is that they are using a traditional filter element rather than an oil soaked "K&N" style, so filtration should not be compromised. The improved flow is supposedly due solely to enhanced laminar flow and reduced turbulence through the ducting.

After resetting the maf/throttle body through my dealer I am happy to report that the car felt stronger with better/more crisp response with the eventuri. I actually got eventuri to make me a double filter since I am worried about dusts in China. So far no problem with light puddles of water, don't know how the filtering is doing but car feels good.
I am looking into porting the throttle body and intake manifold next. Unhinged I can't wait til Wes when you dyno your car with headers =D

Why did the car's MAF and Throttle Body need to be reset. Was it due to the Eventuri setup?
Thanks

I was actually surprised at how dirty my throttle body was, it was black with deposits and stuff.

My tech guy used the dealers laptop and connected it to the car while charging the car battery. They have a software and they go into the interface and reset it and the computer does its thing.
For the throttle body I think it resets the position of the butterfly valve. I dont really know what resetting the maf does. I am not an expert lol, was trying to get an accurate read of a/f ratio.
