Washer fluid leak?

under what part of the car?

ok so wanted to update the post, in case any one experience this, apparently common, issue in the future:
so the ftype has two washer fluid reservoirs, one near the trunk under the washer cap and the other one somewhere in the front. after you fill the washer fluid, and press the washer button, a pump pumps the excess fluid from the rear tank to the front reservoir. the hose exiting the rear tank has a couple O-rings within it to secure the attachment.
In my case, the hose popped off and everytime the pump would try to transfer fluid from the rear to the front tank(ie, everytime I would push the button), the fluid would leak, nothing would get sent to the front tank and therefore the washer fluid warning light would turn on and stay on until car would turn off. they re-attached the hose best they could, which involved removing the rear bumper. but they said the ultimate fix would be to order a new hose with O-rings intact and they would need the car for 2-3 days to really get in there, since the hose runs the entire length of the car and all of it would need to be changed.
for now, no warning light. hope that was a clear enough description

UPDATE
so just got a call from the dealership.
The new hose connecting the 2 washer fluid reservoirs just arrived and they want me to bring he car in and leave it for a day or two.
Here's I need your input: no warning light since they did the makeshift fix 2 weeks ago. And this time since the entire hose needs to be replaced it involves more labor and taking car apart more. And he said 2-3x "we've never done this repair before, so can't say how long it will take"....and that right there freaks me out!!!!!
What do you guys think. Take it to the shop, or just leave things as is??

+1. Regardless of how much needs to be done to fix it, the fix itself will be straight forward and simple to do. They may just have to remove a bunch of stuff to get to where the hose is routed.

yes and that's exactly what makes me nervous; removing a bunch of stuff. I'm nervous about scratches, loose parts, new rattles once I get the car back
