We need a tvs 2650 kit made for the f-type 5.0!!!
Hello Everybody!
I'd love to spark interest/discussion on getting a TVS 2650 KIT (custom cooling brackets/intercooler included, injectors, tuning) available to us 5.0 owners! Personally after purchasing Forged wheels... there's nothing left to do but add a MASSIVE 2.65 litre supercharger to this car with the hood cut out and it sticking out! MadMax style
800HP in this car would be ridiculous!
Let me know what you guys think!

No one is going to want to cut a hole in their hood for this. That's not to say it would necessarily be required for an upgraded supercharger, but I really think the cost is going to be your prohibiting factor here. There just aren't enough F-types on the road to make up for the development costs required to do this properly.

A Nicely painted supercharger lid (possible colour matching) or gloss black would look just fine in my opinion. But I understand where you're coming from on this one lol. "FrankenJag"... I like it!

larger V8 supercharger
Stuart@VAP stated that his company was investigating this upgrade route, although I haven't seen any updates since.
I believe it's unlikely to be an inexpensive option but with the appropriate tune and possibly uprated injectors it would likely provide a significant power boost to in the region of 700 to 800nhp by my estimation

exactly, anything over 700hp and you start to dive into a sketchy territory. A 2.6 would put the engine right around 700, if not over. Whatever the weak link of these motors are (pistons/rods I’d assume) needs to be upgraded as well and that is costly. I would certainly spend the coin on it, but there just isn’t enough R&D. Hopefully VAP dives deeper into this!

I don't understand why you guys are saying the engine wouldn't be able to handle a larger supercharger. We aren't increasing boost levels. If anything boost level will go down 2-3psi and still make 75-100 more HP because the supercharger is more efficient... thus making it safer/removing stress from the engines internals.

Nobody is trying to sell him anything. He has several concepts mixed up and piston/rods will need to be upgraded. Additionally, to think that the reduction of passive power loss achieved will be greater than what he can get out of a reduction of 2-3psi is just way too funny. Of course, your personal hate towards me is better expressed by accusing me of trying to sell something rather than a logical technical discussion.

I’m really looking forward to news on the TVS2650. The specs on eaton’s website show the height of both the 1900 and 2650 being the same so hopefully it can be designed with inter coolers that fit the factory hood. Occasionally I dream of boring and sleeving the block and putting in some forged internals. That’d be nice with more boost.

Interesting proposition. You could technically just use a "DarwinPro" hood and get rid of the viewing window for what you're wanting to do. The 2650 would create less heat for sure so the charge air would not get as hot as it does not. Our biggest enemy in the V8 is the open deck design, to put out big numbers you'll need to have a custom made sleeve support so the top end of the cylinders don't start to wobble and cause catastrophic failure. If you ever take a look at the V6 block, it's partially closed deck thanks to the way they converted it from the V8 block. The high power turbo 4pot scene has been doing the cylinder support sleeves for a while, but you'd have to send in your block to a shop for them to custom CNC the plate, no small feat for many F-type owners.
