Wow, I don't think I've seen one fully wrapped like that fresh from delivery. Congratulations. I'm amped just remembering when I took delivery of mine. I am curious to know why you're adding the VAP valvetronic so soon and not driving the car to get the feel for it? You'll need to report on the MY 19.5 changes/improvements. Look forward to your reports!

Perhaps you are thinking he means a VAP tune? The VAP Valvetronic is the axle back exhaust, which is IMHO one of the best upgrades for our cars, I think he's smart to add it right away.

Hahaha, it was actually Chawumba’s group buy review plus Zsmooth’s you tube video (which I must have watched a 1000 times in the last year) that convinced me to do it, and Stuart from VAP ceramic coated the tips black for me (another good Chawumba tip)!!!

I love how the dealer transporter/factory wraps up and protects everything. Nothing would be worse than to be greeted by a big scratch or dent. So nice!

Congrats! I think you are the only one on this forum who has waited longer than I have to get your hands on this car! Mine coming next week. I wish you miles and miles of driving pleasure.
All the best.

Congrats! Your patience will pay off as soon as you get past break-in and wind it out fully for the first time with top down... then do it again in a tunnel :^)

Just got home from a 3 hour drive from the dealer, and well I'm speechless, I need to digest what I just took in and will give some thoughts on this car. Also, want to go back and stare at it some more.

Ok, after some thought, few points as the adrenaline is still pumping

1) Damn this car has power, it's available, anywhere, anytime, at any RPM.
2) I don't know if it's because it's a convertible, but yeah, the stereo is not powerful enough, and I have the upgraded one (which is ok, because I had it off most of the time listing to the symphony that is the car itself)
3) Pops and Crackles, not loud enough for me, definitely putting on the VAP Valvetronic exhaust on tomorrow
4) The new wide screen display is GREAT
5) I was worried about the Alcantera interior and seating, the color looks quite a bit darker then the rest of the interior, but oh my, it came out nice!
6) The Suede, the metallic white and the Carbon fiber make for a VERY nice combo, while this car isn't an exotic like a lamb or Ferrari, I'd say it's quite quite close
7) My first ever car with THIS much horsepower (by a mile, a very long mile, last car had 200 HP), when you punch it, you really feel the weight shift from the front transaxle to the rear transaxle, is this what makes mid-engine such a great sports car?
8) The car just looks so good, when I got the dealership, I just wanted to stare at it, and the salesman was like "you now own this car, why don't you go drive it?" and I just kept saying, I need 5 more minutes just to look at its beauty and grace.
8) This car was absolutely worth the wait, and I would have probably waited another year if I had to, something about the combination of all these things that make it so so special!

Gonna pass out now from the last few days of automotive emotion, we do it all over again tomorrow with Velocity exhaust put on!!!!

This is exactly what I feld like ! For some weeks I tended to walk up to the car, around it and think : "..this is my car, it REALLY is.."

It should be difficult to get emotionally involved with a lump of metal, but Jaguar makes it so easy!
