Welcome to the XFR to F-Type club!
And yours is also a V6 Coupe in grey (Anthracite?).

Trick of the light - it's Rhodium Silver...and those big 20" wheels like the XFR ;-)

OK, silver, grey, not a helluva lot of difference, my Lunar Grey looks more silver than grey to me!
And it's a good thing that the wheel PCD and centre bore are identical on the XF and F-Type, it means I can move the 20" Coventry Whitley rims I have on the XFR over to the F-Type if I want (and put the hideously expensive Blades away for safekeeping), I have already test fitted one of the rears and it is perfect.

Now that is what I call holiday shopping! Guaranteed you weren't mobbed trying to get into the dealer but the lasting value of your "gift to yourself" will last a lot longer. Congrats and welcome to the asylum.

Overboard? Me thinks not! A totally rational thing to do. Congrats!

Since you purchased it from Mercedes Benz (dealer plate in the picture), I assume it was used. Change your oil right away, as you don't know what PO did or didn't do to it.

Yes, 2016, 1 PO with 8K on the clock. First thing I do is usually a filter and fluid change ;-)

I love my Rhodium Silver, have an Xpel wrap on it and it looks fabulous.
Congratulations on your purchase!
And enjoy the forum here, I learn something new every day (not always car related )

This was a few years ago. The tree was big enough.

It wasn't really a Christmas present to myself, as I'd bought it months before, and the combination of steps up to the front porch and down to the sunken living room, then back ...

Let's just say that I re-use the picture every year rather than take a new one.

Yes, welcome to the XFR to F-Type club....

Now do we think there can be a chance that there will be a F-Type to (new) XFR club?

Well for me it was more of a four seater to a two seater transition, so I don't see myself going (back) to an XE or an XFR.

Congratulations on your F-Type! I see nothing "overboard" here.
