Default What brake pads should I buy for rear and front F Type 2017

I have a leased 2017 Jag F type (premium). Light just came on saying I needed new pads. Any recommendations as to where to find these or what model I should buy?

Any reason not to just go with OEM?

Although I would check them to make sure they are really low rather than just a fault with the system. Seems odd they need replacing already unless you have really been driving it hard, a lot.

Also important to be aware that there are several different combinations of front disc sizes and rear disc sizes fitted as standard and these have different pads.

There have been posts on the forum that detailed different sizes and OEM and other options such as Porterfield (If I recall)

Call a dealer and order them.

FWIW, my F-Type has had many track days and still on the original pads.

I highly recommend the Porterfield R4-S.

Low dust also means one of the following: very noisy or poor stopping power. Of these, dust is the lesser evil.

How are they in cold weather and rain? Some track pads don't do as well in less than ideal driving situations.

The R4 is the track pad. The R4-S is the Street pad. The only issue with water is at start up. Once warmed up (within a block’s distance), they’re wiped enough to have good bite.
