100% agree with this statement!

I just recently bought our F-Type. A C8 Corvette was briefly on the list for consideration but dropped it for several reasons. It's not a small car, and I'm trying to maximize garage space. Yes I know, the F-Type isn't small either, but it is slightly smaller than the C8. Also, as mentioned, it's early-on for having them in stock, and between that and the crazy market, I didn't bother stopping in to see what they're going for. Lastly, while the bang-for-the-buck is indeed high, I'd only be able to afford the entry model, and knowing that the Z06 version is on the way, that'll depress both me and the resale value of all lower-end models.

Regarding its styling, I'm more into curves than a crease-and-fold look. Lastly (for real this time), I'm a bit bemused to realize that I do care what others drive, and do very much appreciate how rare the F-type is around my area. A couple weeks ago we took the F-Type out and went to breakfast, and while seated, watched a local Corvette club drive by. Just one cookie-cutter C8 after another. I thought, so much for exclusivity

I think the C8 looks like an abomination. Hideous. Looks like a camaro mated with a ferrari with downs.

The C8 definitely lost the Corvette classic appeal. I bet if you ask anyone who isn't into cars, they wouldn't be able to tell you what it is. Don't even get me started on the ridiculous button layout in a row for the driver.
