I chose the BRG and am very happy. However, it does show the dirt more than most colors.

 

The problem with all the dark colors is that they all seem black when not exposed to direct sunlight.

My choice: Rhodium Silver.

 

I almost ordered this silver, but ended up with the Italian racing red, knowing it would be more work keeping it looking clean. And it is.
The only Rhodium that I have seen is in pictures, so I just wasn't sure enough to get it. Anyway, I'm very happy with the Italian red, but I'm sure the Rhodium must look really good as well.

I'm foing for the BRG and Tan (seats and carpets) I am very surprised by how few have gone for That so british combination!

 

There is no "right" or "wrong" answer when it comes to color (combinations) just as appreciating ART where beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As I mentioned here in another thread, in my opinion there is no 'bad" color in the F-Type - merely personal preference.

I preferred Stratus Gray 1) because i knew my wife would (also) love the understated elegance of it and 2) it's the car I test drove at my dealer which he ultimately gave me a fabulous deal on.

After buying the car, I did fall in deep lust with British Racing Green but - as I wrote in yet another thread here - I'm not really a green kind of car guy.

And that's the "right" answer for me (having said all that...I'm quite sure that I could live quite happily with any color combination; with BRG tops on that list).

 

I originally thought IRR, but I have moved over to White for a coupla reasons
1) doesn't show the dirt as much as a dark colour
2) the manufacturer uses the colour in ads that bests shows off the car and that is usually white

 

Ultimately our cars look great in any colour. To me, the one thing that makes or breaks a car are the rims. Where I come from, black rims are for school buses and snow tires. That being said I do like the carbon fibre look "blade" rims, particularly with Firesand.
Admittedly, that could be an age thing. (51). When I went to the dealership the first time the salesman was trying to sell me an R with the Carbon brakes. I wouldn't even look at it because of the rims. He even offered to have them painted. Then I saw the blue car. It was over for me. The car was exactly as I had chosen on the Jag website.

 

I am biased because I chose the stratus grey... I have pic in another thread if you would like to have a look. The color is very unique. Sometimes it's a charcoal in appearance, sometimes metallic black. Sharp!

for easy of maintenance I went with white. if you don't like detailing the car often white is the best!

I love the look of my blacked out R. Gets a lot of "thumbs up" every time I drive it.

Have Stratus Grey, like Lunar Grey with grey top, white with tan or red interior, black on black with red stitch. I'm easy, if price is right there are other colors, especially Italian Racing Red. Sorry no BRG.

 

Do post photos of it, it's exactly the combination I'm going for ! but before finalising my order I would love to see some images !

It looks really good. !! Mine is Italian R.R. with the same interior as yours.. the X paint on both these colours really sparkles in the light.
