But only on a V8? I'm selling my V6 soon as I can find a suitable R or V8 vert' replacement... So I think I will just wait.

No, it will work on the V6 as well.

How about slotted rotors and/or a reasonably priced big brake kit?

That is a good idea. Do they come with 2-piece rotors as a stock item, or are they cast?

I believe they are cast.

The "Super Performance Braking System" available on the S models and standard on the R have 380mm/front rotors and 376mm/rear rotors. I think those are the same sizes that are on the 5.0 XKR but I don't know if they are interchangeable. Spires has grooved rotors for the XKR.

I don't think brakes should be the first area of concern. Anyone who really cares would opt for the carbon ceramic package.

Not at all - brakes can be upgraded in many different ways.

Not everyone wants or needs carbon ceramics, and the 12K cost of the CCBs is probably better spent elsewhere.

Absolutely 12k for brakes isn't for everyone. But anyone who's going to track the car regularly would likely opt for those, and everyone who won't track the car doesn't need them. The stock brakes are pretty good as is.

Default Active exhaust on the basic f type

Our company is pretty well known in the Aston Community over on this site's sister board 6speedonline, but we've been making Jag exhausts since early 2008.

I always think the best part of these boards as a sponsor is getting to communicate directly with your potential customer base and as a potential customer, getting your voice heard and getting the products you want.

So, that said... what products would you be interested in seeing for the F-Type? I'm assuming things like exhaust, high flow cats and so on, but would be interested in your thoughts on specifics.

For example - full cat back exhaust? Just the rear boxes? Do you want valves or do you want noise all the time?

Lowering Springs?

Please chime in, I would love to hear some suggestions
I just took delivery of a basic ftype coupe which does not have the active exhaust option. Is it possible to add this option now or modify the exhaust to obtain the great sound that comes from the factory when the option is purchased?

I'm guessing that there aren't valves on the exhaust you have, so it is most likely only possible to get it by fitting the Jag Active setup, or purchasing an aftermarket option with a similar function.

If you're interest, drop me a line. We often develop products by working with customers, and they usually end up getting the final part for 50 cents on the dollar
