Yes, I'm tempted to just finance a 2014 R which my USAA car buyer service will loan at 1.99%, I've test driven the RWD 2015's extensively, retired CCS motorcycle racer, love the step out, but yes the AWD is like running a new Yam R1, and 99% will be spent on streets .... But anyone with a rational opinion on the 2014's coming off lease in my scenario? I didn't not do a lot of research on the 2014 line, suspect not a lot was changed(?)

I have no history of leasing, but this is the type of (secondary) vehicle to do it in...may not want to keep it in 3 yrs, or just go find a 2017 COUP (this ones a convertible) coming off lease in 2020 as the "keeper", as I'm paying a very low equivalent interest rate on this "loaner" (money factor)...

(this 2017 lease: MSRP 113.7K Initial cap cost $99K 54% residual (residual $61,000 in 36 months). Money factor is .00029)

Not a bad deal on lease, but you might be able to find something better.

In regard to add ons the only one I would consider is the clear bra and then only if you are going to keep car beyond lease. I would go with full hood instead of just front third. Also, ask to see some of their installers work. There can be huge quality differences between installers.

I think you are forgetting the exchange rate: C$46,899 = US$ 34,705.

 

I went with the lease, $14,000 off the MSRP at .00029 money factor, took your recommendations and put very little in cash and said no to all options except wheels.

in 3 years I will give it back and if I really want to own a "classic 2017 Ftype R" forever I will search the used/auction/off lease market, by then I probably will want the coup

or a TESLA

 

Also, I agree in the clear bra, but not from the dealers vendor, he wanted too much for too little (shocker)

with th money from "no's", I have a custom car wrap studio I shopped for that will do more for less, will throw in some black vinyl accents to break up all this red (will post pictures)

Perhaps true, but dblahnick is here in the States and it's nigh on impossible to federalize cars from overseas markets. The OEM '15 R will be the classic version of this model in the U.S.

The drive through the blue ridge was fun today, but due to extenuating circumstances my radar warning unit is sitting back in charlotte, and my superstitious side didn't want to start of our relationship with a constable involved. But lots of side roads to find...
