Perfect. I've seen the Tornado wheels mentioned in many threads but was never able to place the face to the name. Thanks.

Are these a true two piece wheel? The bolts appear to me to be functional.

Does anyone know "how heavy?" i.e. how much do these tornados weigh?

From two different sources (Other one may have been from this forum? Can´t remember..)

Front: 14,3 kg = 31,5 lb or 15,5 kg = 34,2 lb
Rear: 16 8 kg = 37,0 lb or 17,0 kg = 37,5 lb

Meaning you don't care for the black? Heck, I thought that's what everyone was moving to. For me, sometimes I think black wheels look great while other times not so much. I think a black wheel can get lost wrapped in the black tire resulting in an area totally devoid of shadow and contrast. At the same time, I have seen some that are just drop dead gorgeous. It may be nothing more than the lighting at the time.

Those are my thoughts exactly. The lighting plays a huge factor in a black wheel, but 90% of the time it looks horrible.

I'm more of a machined or milled finish guy.

So, out of curiosity, why does your car have black wheels currently? Have you changed your mind about them or did they happen to come on the car you chose (e.g., pre-owned purchase)?

Pre-Owned. Wanted the black pack, came with the black wheels.

To my eye black wheels always look like they are covered in brake dust. And on a black car, it is the "stealth" fad carried too far. But every owner has the absolute right to fit whatever he/she finds most appealing. Give me a silver-tone wheel ( painted or polished), every time, on any colour car. The contrast between wheel and body colours is very pleasing to the eye, while black wheels give the car (every car) a very heavy, ponderous appearance.

I used to think like you, sov211, until I got my white F-Type with carbon blade wheels. I love them!
I'm still not a fan of gloss black wheels, though.

Well, a white car with black(ish) wheels provides the pleasing contrast - and the carbon blade wheels offervisual highlights.

But...:
