Default What are these?

The pads are tiny, so I’m guessing that they are literally just for the parking brake.

They have the part numbers CP8328-12BG1 TRW and -13BG1 TRW engraved on them with CP8328-102 and -103 cast into them

The separate park brake calipers for cars with Carbon Ceramic brakes.

Looking at the pads (Textar 2061003) gives me a BMW motorcycle, or a choice of:

S-type (X200), 01/99 - 12/08
XJ (X350), 05/03 - 03/09
XK (X150) 03/06 - 07/14

The S-Type R, XJR & Super V8 from 2003-2005 had Brembo brakes, some XKR's 2007-2009 had Alcon brakes, and the 2014 XKR-S GT with the Carbon Ceramics, those have a separate park brake, made by Brembo. Some Aston Martin's use the same setup as well.

Very similar to the F-Type with Carbon Ceramics except the F-Type has individual electric actuators on each caliper, the other cars are cable actuated from a central motor. In the pics posted you can see the electrical connections for the individual electric actuators on each caliper, so I presume they are the F-Type ones.

Makes sense. Whatever the brake disc is made of, it’s pretty thick...
