What are they saying back there?
I'm often at a stop light and glance in rear view to notice the people in car behind me are pointing in my direction and talking... sometimes cell phones pop up and it is obvious they want a shot of the car. If no cell phone, I wonder what they are saying...
I imagine they are saying "look at that rock star in that awesome car!' - but they are probably just saying "keep going straight until you get to that next light up there and turn right..."
What do they say behind you?

I'm pretty certain, during the 2016 Jaguar Lobster Run, with Unhingd directly behind me, that he muttered the following to his co-pilot friend Terry: "If Jay goes 132 I'm gonna do 133*".
*135.
Of course this is all hypothetical.
On the other hand, DJS - or was it MBourne? - was behind us both (and keeping up) surely saying something along the lines of "those guys are nuts".
Takes one to know one.

I have a Firesand convertible and honsestly it gets almost no attention. I was taking it through a car wash (hand wash) a few weeks back and two young kids said to their father "is that a McLaren", he said no a Jaguar and they promptly said "boring" as they walked off - lol. That's probably the most attention it has had in 3 years.
The most attention I have received in a car was in a white Lotus Elise - even more than a Rosso Corsa Ferrari I also used to own. Here it is:

As my three amigos here know, it was only recently - a week or so ago - that I had one of my friends (a trusted valet at a very upscale hotel) drive by me and my wife dining al fresco, and I told him to "punch it", that I experienced the glorious sounds coming from my 2015 V6S. Freakin fabulous and music to my ears!!!

After I got used to the fantastic high speed performance of the car and how it lives to be at speed, I was just muttering about you needing to speed up! Also commenting about how nice it would be to have autobahn speed allowances and craning my neck looking for our friends in blue.
[re] your second comment: you mean our "escorts"?

Life is too short to have any regret. And, when you think about it - although I try not to think - it is a rather open-ended question open to so much imagination and/or interpretation. Now if you ask Freud what he would think...

Now, even I'm regretting it.

Hmmmmm....."Children are completely egoistic; they feel their needs intensely and strive ruthlessly to satisfy them" "THAT's Us"!
