OK, all you watch aficionados, I recently inherited a very old pocket watch from my great grandfather. Can anyone tell me about it? (I'll take it to a jeweler at some point...)
I don't expect it to be very valuable as my family has always been very frugal. All I know is that I was told it's from the late 1800's... Of course, I'll do some Googling too...
Plenty of watch forums! Waltham was center of US watch making for many years. Picture of movement will help get info. Looks turn of the century but doesn't mean movement is.Wristwatches only got popular in late '20's-'30's.
