What's in your trunk / boot?
#21
At the moment, a hat for a passenger, box of Kleenex, a roll of paper towels, a small bottle of Costco water, a scarf, a couple bags for groceries, a small tupperware for coins for the parking meter, and the tire kit.
Fog in Tiburon? Gee, I feel ya. I’ll trade you 10 degrees and we’ll both be happy as a bee.
Wine: If you haven’t already done so, get waitlisted for “Screaming Eagle.” It’s a cult wine which can be seen on the secondary market. No tastings. Not enough to go around. It will take years to get to the top of the list. Try Hourglass. Waitlisted too but will only take a year, maybe 2 at most. You have to pick it up at a wine storage facility of your choice or have it shipped. Cakebread Cellars, served in stuck up restaurants in SF but found at our local grocery store.
Not overly PC up here but if you’re not, you won’t be called out on it. Indians are Indians. A Native American will often refer to him/herself as such. You just have to ask which kind. Nobody really cares. Casinos are Indian and they are run by tribes. You’ll find “trigger happy” people in the universities and tech industry.
But back to the trunk: I went on a roadtrip with a buddy. I told him to bring a duffel bag. He brought a carry-on. I was irritated. He could have hung his jacket on the coat hook in back of the seat.
