Default wheel color change

So when i bought my car I went for the Gyrodyne wheels, was going for blades but were considerably more expensive, I do like the Gyrodynes but am thinking of doing them gloss black and keeping the polished outer edge diamond cut as with the blades, cost is £70 per rim,
Have seen plenty of Gyrodynes in the gloss look but none with outer edge left.

What you think yes/no,

Is that really possible with powder coating? I think you would have to have the edge re-polished if you wanted the same finish.

yes it’s possible. It’s masked by special high temp tape used for powder coating. Similar to kapton tape, but usually it’s green.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

I like it better than all black, and maybe more than the Blades, if your first picture is what you’re proposing.
