Wheel data thread (posts must include weights!)

![Default](/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif)
PLEASE add data to thread. OEM AND aftermarket.
This thread is meant to help find data on F-Type wheels. It is not meant to address tires - just wheels, but users are welcome to note the tires that are commonly used on these wheels and such.
Weight is a mandatory feature as it is often (almost always) missing in action on all websites including Jaguar sites.
Lug nut information is also strongly encouraged - saying OEM is fine but if a wheel needs a different type/shape of lug nut that information can be of help to others in a huge way.
Here is my proposed format:
Wheel Name(s):
Picture(s):
OEM?: Yes/No
If not OEM, manufacturer:
Realistic time to get a new one and source: (dealer, days, wheel is custom made and months, etc.)
Cost retail (not your special price because you know someone, what a normal person would pay without a group buy, etc.)
Sponsors of this forum that carry this wheel: (e.g. AlloyWheelsDirect)
Specs: diameter/width/offset/center bore.
Weight(s):
(note to all, JLR wheels have to pass the same tests the rest of the Land Rover wheels do - a 45mph curb hit and not be damaged or damage the suspension per Harry M. of Harry's Garage - see the P450 review at 22:30...so while they weigh a bit...they may be far tougher than any other option and getting home without worries is 'fun' too)
OEM TPMS compatible: (yes/no)
Piece count: monoblock/two piece/three piece
If multipiece are spare parts available? (yes/no/na)
If multipiece can it be rebuild locally or does it have to go back to the manufacturer or a specialist (yes/no/na)
Material: aluminum/magneisum/carbon fiber/titanium, etc.
Manufacturing method(s): cast, forged, flow formed
Center bore: (OEM or if not, what is done to address the issue)
Center cap size (OEM or other, if other the specs if known)
Compatible with OEM carbon brake rotors? (yes/no)
Lug Nuts (OEM, other special needs, standard, problematic):
Manufacturer warranty data:
Warranty transferable: (yes/no)
Manufacturer contact data for support: (for OEM just say OEM) Website data is good here with email and phone numbers if possible: e.g. the JLR dealer or many parts sites for oem wheels
Part numbers data if known:
Misc. Comments by the post author: Known to bend easily or be fragile in general (crack/fail), hard to clean, poor paint quality, easy to mar lug holes due to being very tight fit, company hard to reach, other issues only an owner would know about.
Opinion by posting person on ease of cleaning (A=easy, B=average, C=tough)
I'll start off with 2 and hopefully others will chime in with more data. The goal is to please not put posts up that are opinions or comments on the wheels. One post for one wheel model (multiple sizes are allows so long as you provide the data for the sizes as able).
Hopefully this can become a resource for the group over time. I have certainly wanted this and seen others asking over threads for these data.

Great intel.
Where does the info about having to survive a 45mph curb collision without incurring any damage come from?
I know for a fact the 20inch Selena wheels (popular on the XF) bend easily at half that speed hitting a pothole much less obtrusive than a curb. I have bent several over the years...
Many other jag wheels are similarly made of a seemingly soft alloy that bends easily too. Seems less of an issue on the F Type forum (far less driven in the winter on pot holed roads) but a very common issue with XF, XJ etc
terrific that you are collecting this data. Particularly on weight as it's so hard to find!

As you say it doesn't seem to be the same with XF wheels. During my eight years of XF ownership I also read countless cases of people that buckled their XF wheels on potholes.
