Default Wheel wells ?

Hi
I-noticed that my wheel wells have started to turn a gray / whitish color. I remember them being
nice and black. Will have to take the wheels off as there is no way to get a brush or a hand in there to clean the area. What product are you using to restore that nice black color after you clean the area??
Thanks
Joe SWF.

I occasionally spray the wheel wells down but otherwise pay them no heed. They were once black? (Just went out and looked. They look formerly black)

I'm more bothered by the formerly black plastic parts at the base of the windshield.

EDIT: Maybe 303 Protectant would help?

I'm bothered that my red calipers have faded so much.

I don’t recall if the wheel wells are plain black plastic or that carpet like material that some cars use for sound deadening. On the plain black plastic I use spray tire foam. If they are relatively clean (not mud covered) it makes them black again.

Have you considered coating them with a high gloss clear high temperature product?

Wheel wells on the F type are plastic, not outdoor carpet.

To clarify, the front liners are hard plastic, the rears seem more similar to thin outdoor carpet.

Stroke 'em yourself to see.

Haven’t spent a lot of time under the rear axle. For the MY16, you are indeed correct. No wonder those rear wheel wells don’t shine up very well. LOL

I would use AMMO NYC -Mud. It will also shine up the cowl very nicely
