I just put on Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 on my f-type... they are insanely grippy, I can’t hardly spin the tires even in the cold or wet. I used to be able to spin the p-zeros up to 70mph before they warmed up, but even if I break these ones loose, I can’t maintain it up to speed, not enough power and too much grip.

Can’t speak to how they are in the snow or ice as we haven’t had any yet, but for rain and cooler weather they are fantastic. They should be good for snow since they have the “s” in there. Should last a good long while with a 50k warranty too.

Thank You.

Was looking at the new Bridgestone Potenzia RE980As as the are readily avalble in my area.
Will have to look at these also!

just looked it up.

They make a tire for the front of my car - 255 / 35 - 20, but not the rear tire - 295 / 30 - 20.

They do make one that's close - 285 / 30 - 20..........

Did you have this problem also?

I have the sport 20 black rims on my F type.

Thank You,

Brian F.

I run 255/35/20 front and 285/35/20 rear in the winter. I use sottozeros and purchased them last year. Back then, Pirelli didn't make the 295/30/20, but my dealer told me that running the 285s is fine.

Default Thank You

That makes me feel better about putting the 285 / 30 - 20s on the rear of my car.

BTW: Talked to the dealer yesterday, very nice, but they want $290.00 to change out the tires if I bring my own tires to them for mounting and balancing - Ouch!

285/30R20 is the approved Jaguar Pirelli winter tyre size.

A good performance tire shop will do it for around $120.

Discount tires carry's a 295/30/20 but it is a W rated tire good for 168MPH. Need to ask yourself if you plan on doing more than that.
