When do you turn DSC off?

When do you turn DSC off?
If you're going to drag at the strip, or if you're trying to get unstuck from mud or snow would possibly be times?
But, when do you turn it off, and how much does this specific vehicle react / change vs other cars?
Some say DSC interrupts the experience of driving, while other finger wag a warning that it should never be turned off, ever.
What say you?

I tell new drivers at (race) tracks to keep all aids on, "until" the aids prevent them from doing what they want to do (assuming they have the right instruction). If the aids are not stopping someone from driving fast, there is no reason to disable them unless someone wants to gorilla pat their chest. If a person is really working on their car control craft, at some point, the aids are going to get in the way. However, honestly, for the majority of drivers, there is rarely a need to disable anything.

All the way off? Never. I'm enough of a dumbass that I'd end up going into the woods backwards if I did that. Full DSC is a bit too intrusive. TracDSC stays out of the way if I'm only being a minor dumbass, but is there to help if I go full dumbass.
If/when I track it, I'll start with full DSC until I see where it's "helping." The track is a different place and while I'm less likely to be a dumbass, I'm more likely to get into deeper water.

Oddly enough, I've turned DSC completely off about a half dozen times in very heavy rain where there's an inch or two of standing water on the freeway because the computer was fighting too much with my inputs and actually seemed to make the car more difficult to control. Otherwise, I almost always leave DSC fully on.

Have noticed the DSC helping hand many times. Until this thread it never occurred to me to see what is was like in Track DSC or with DSC completely disabled.
With it completely disabled I could see how you could get the car seriously out of shape without careful throttle control - especially in the rain.

Keep the button pressed for 10-12 seconds though and DSC is turned completely off.

Hello together,
Again a silly question about the DSC! Despite Stage 3 VAP setup, I have almost never noticed the orange sign DSC during acceleration, as if it never intervenes with me. Whether this is due to my Michelin Pilot Sport 4S? I assumed that at Stage3 the DSC would have to intervene more often, ht it but until now actually never. In any case, I have not noticed any orange display. Now to my question. Can it be that the DSC intervenes slightly earlier, and only when the slip is too large, it intervenes more strongly. Then you see the orange DSC control briefly light up? Must say that I currently drive the 1/4 mile in about 11.10-11.20 sec. So the Stage3 VAP tuning shows its effect on my F-Type. So is the intervention no matter how much always indicated via the cockpit by flashing DSC sign or not?
Thank you
BR

Just wondering aloud how necessary is the DSC intervention with the 300 HP 4 pot engine?
As I type this, during the first 25 miles of ownership, I do recall coming off the freeway, then a stop and a 90 degree left hand turn.
The turbo boost kicked up in the middle of that turn.
Perhaps I just answered my own question.....
