Default Where are My Girl F-Type Owners?

Ladies! I've been a Jaguar owner for 17 years now, starting with a 2000 XJ VP back in 2004. What y'all got?

Also! I am replacing my 2018 F-Type, R-Dynamic. It's Fuji white with red seats and the most fun I've ever had in a car, seriously. Looking at a 2021 and trying to decide on colourations. Does BRG with a tan interior make me look old?!

Love to hear from y'all!

BRG with tan interior makes you look classy. It's wrinkles that would make you look old, but I doubt you have them since your grin muscles will keep your skin well toned!

Well, I haven't been a 'girl' for awhile, after I turned 16 I was a young lady or young woman, now I'm just an old broad :=)

I've had several British cars, Spitfire, Midget, MGA, Tr4a, Tr6, and have had my 69 Series 2 coupe since 1989, as the third owner. The MY2017 F type Premium Coupe joined the garage this past fall, Oct. 2020. And NO to looking Old, Burgundy with tan inside is a Classic British colour scheme... my 2018 Corvette is Long Beach REd with Kalahari interior, very similar.

I currently am awaiting delivery on a 2021 F Type R in British Racing Green with the full Windsor leather upgrade in tan color. I am just a few weeks from turning 66 years old but sure don't feel like it and most people think I'm at least 10 years younger. There are several color combos available for the F Type that are classy and/or stunning but for me the classic BRG & tan was irresistible. I will not however be wearing driving gloves or one of those tweed caps when behind the wheel.
I also think a classic combination will appeal to more buyers should you decide to sell it after a few years.

Default BRG

I’d been looking for a used F-Type in BRG/tan for about 3 years. Very tough to find in Canada. Had only seen 1 available about 2.5 years ago. Victoria, I think. And BRG is very rare in itself.

I finally found a ‘19 BRG coupe about 4 weeks ago and pulled the trigger. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the tan interior. I wish I’d had the budget to order a new one just as I wanted.

Oh well. At least I now have an F-Type in BRG, and with very low mileage and great condition. I can start enjoying.

Nothing at all wrong with a BRG/tan combination...I've got it in two of my vehicles and was considering it had I pulled the trigger on spec'ing a '21 Lotus (tan leather seats were added in the US order list for this model year).

That is what I am looking for as well to add to the stable-either a Lotus (used of course for me) Evora S or a Cayman S. I had a couple 911's but not in the budget for a 3rd car.

I know this is not an F type but I get people, young and old asking me about the car all of the time. It is one of the only BRGs/london tans in all of the area.

Steve McQueen's XKSS was originally white with red leather. He had it repainted in BRG and had a custom upholstery job done in black leather. I think he would approve of anyone with an F Type in BRG today.
I'll take that endorsement thank you.

Must be kismet! My 2017 has similar color combo with just center of seats in red. Oh, and one other similarity. Can you find it?
Just last night after parking in from of restuarant, I had someone come up to me saying he had tried to catch me on highway a few days prior to get a picture of the tag as his wife is a cat lover.
And JMHO, but i would never trade in for a 2020+ model. They've neutered the looks with the front end.

I would have preferred the F-Type in BRG with tan interior but found a 2016 convertible with chocolate brown interior and black top. I know this will evoke howls of protest but if you are buying a Jaguar, there is only ONE color and that is British Racing Green. Otherwise, what's the point?

A jaguar in any colour is better than no Jaguar.

Here! 2016 R convertible; everyone assumes it's my husband's. I need a t-shirt that says "Yes, and with MY OWN MONEY, too!" lol

When I decided to get an F type, I decided to get a convertible. I live in a snow belt state, there are too many idiot drivers who don't know hoe to drive on snow or ice. I typically won't buy new, because I don't like the big depreciation hit in the first three years. I wanted a V6S or a V8S (or R). My first choice was BRG with camel interior, second choice was silver or gray with cirrus (white) or camel interior, I looked for 2-3 years. I came across a 2014 V6 Base BGR with camel interior in Sarasota, FL. I really wanted a V6S or V8, but the car was beautiful, I made an offer but we couldn't agree on price. I continued my quest and found a local, one owner V6S, fully loaded with every option, 5,000 original miles, clean carfax, However it was not the BRG or silver color I wanted, it was/is IRR with camel interior, it's beautiful, I was hooked, and the agreed price was lower than the BRG Base, no regrets.

A SCM stated: "A jaguar in any colour is better than no Jaguar. "

More ladies should drive the F-Type!
My sister loves the Jaguar / Land Rover brand, but didn't make the move yet.
She loves the F-Type, but sometimes she is scared to drive it as a daily driver because of less visibility etc.

In every colour the F-Type looks good, but the BRG with tan interior is one of my favorite combos!
It's classy and definitely doesn't make you look old. Go for it if you like that colour.

Could not agree more - says the owner of a 2017 S BRG/Camel. I am surprised Unhinged has not weighed in on this. And no, it does not make you look anything but great.

You do know there have been many variants of BRG, don't you? SO BRG is actually more than one colo(u)r ...

Top Gear did an interesting segment on the history of BRG a number of years ago (with Clarkson, et. al.)
