Mine is now at the dealer, I will pick it up in two weeks. Sadly I am in the UK for work until the 25th. The dealer was kind enough to send me pictures.

Orkney (strangely enough... In Orkney!)

If it's anything like mine, I'm certain it's beautiful.

Mine still doesn't show on the WW site. Hopefully it's not on a boat yet, as opposed to driven off the pier.

After first placing my deposit when I first saw and heard the car go up the hill at Goodwood I am finally due to pick my F Type up in two weeks time. I have regressed into my eight year old self the night before Christmas annoying everyone in my immediate vicinity by asking them where my F Type is.

I went for Polaris White, red seats and console but jet upper trim. 19" Centrifuges in black, super performance braking kit with red calipers and the premium & vision packs. I am having the black pack installed at the dealer as they couldn't order it from the factory with my option combo for some reason.

How are those that have had their 6MTs delivered enjoying them? It is a bit weird thinking I'm buying a car like this without having driven it first.

There's plenty to criticize with the transmission, but believe me, you'll love it. Check out my comments here:https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...3/#post1261924

Some photos of my F-Type in wait.

British Racing Green manual F-Type S, awaiting my pickup in Plano

The wrap is still on the console, but you can see the gray seats clearly

Six speeds. Ready to run!

Awesome pics. I like how they covered everything on the console except the Start/Stop button, the parking brake and gearshift.

Don't want the car jockeys at the port playing with anything else...

The wait must be excruciating ....

Orkney - That exterior shot is one of the nicest of the BRG color that i have seen. Maybe it's the morning light on the car? I couldn't see this color when I ordered mine, none in stock, only saw photos. It looked too black to me, but your photo makes it look really nice to my eyes.

It is very pretty in that light. But it's only the nose that is illumunated such that the color really pops. if you look at the rest of the car, it fades to black.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, because the car also looks fabulous in dark colors. It's just that I love that lighter, non-metallic shade of BRG common in the 60's. I'd love to have an F-Type in that color.

The Atlantic Companion has docked in Liverpool. And my father heard from his dealer that his car is expected in CT a week earlier than anticipated. Sounds like the dealer should have it on 7/31 or so.

Mine showed planned dealer delivery on 7/31 as of Saturday, but it's still not showing on the WW site. I'd have thought it'd be on a ship by now to get to Northern California by then. Not panicking, but curious.

Rounding the turn to enter the home stretch....my vehicle was loaded on the boat 9 minutes ago! Anyone know the typical length of stay at the port?

I don't know if this is the case for Jaguar, but for West Coast deliveries BMW does not uses WW, they use a different line. Maybe Jag does the same?

Also a little update my fathers car shows as Loaded onto the atlantic companion a few hours ago.

My C30 came from Ghent to Pt. Hueneme on WW, then took a train to Northern California. I expected the same, but don't remember the transit time.

So I got some bad news from my dealer. They were checking updates on my car and somehow the planned delivery date changed from 17th to 24th, even though it was unloaded off the ship on Friday 10th.

The thing that's wierd is that my dealer is the 3rd closest dealer from the port. For those familiar with SoCal, there's only jaguar ventura, jaguar Thousand Oaks, and finally my dealer Galpin Jaguar Van Nuys. I find it hard to believe it would take more than a week considering it's only 55miles from my dealer to the port.

Might be that they had to repair some issue on the vehicle before it gets delivered to the dealership.
