Looks like there's now an abundance of 6spd's for sale across the US -- 22 on Cars.com. Dealerships are finally getting some inventory. Kind of crazy for those of us that waited 5 months for this car that others will walk in to a dealership tomorrow and buy one off the lot.

Yes, but chances of finding the one you really wanted are slim to none - in fact with 950+ F-Types on cars.com its amazing how difficult it is to find even a slightly non-popular spec (as in not black, white or red).
I only bought a car off the lot once. I was looking for a fairly stripped down model and they had the color I wanted. There were limited options anyway.
My current, and the F-Type I'm eagerly awaiting, were both ordered to spec because the wait was worth it to get just what I wanted. I just hope I'm happy with the color once I finally see it in person.

Perfect, I can't imagine why anyone would want an F-Type in anything other than white, red [EDIT: or orange].

Reason: Correction
Or (Xirallic) Blue? (a quite unpopular color but awesome nonetheless...)
Very nice in bright sunlight, but too black too much of the time, much like so-called BRG.
I think the problem is that Jaguar are and have always been somewhat 'restrained' or 'conservative' with regards to color, which may not totally match up with the concept of a 'sports car'.
I'm not sure if this bothers anyone else, but it seems that Jaguar didn't put an aluminum dead pedal next to the clutch pedal. I feel that the carpet would wear out over time. All the manual cars I have driven had a dead pedal of some sort, or at least plastic.

Wow. Those are some cheap looking pedals. How long before someone makes up some aluminum ones, with a matching dead pedal?
Jag metal pedals and foot rest available. I prefer rubber. Better traction.
My current car has aluminum with rubber insets. Traction is just fine and they look better. The brake pedal does wear the left side of my right shoe if I'm not careful to avoid rubbing, but I have no real complaints (other than positioning).
Dead pedal is a rubber mat on the carpet though. Doesn't match.
