I felt she needed a tramp stamp.

You just need the right lighting.

Nice shot. I like the badges that came on my car. I think they are very tasteful.

We pretty much have the same car except I opted for the black pack 20" cyclone and red seat belts

Thanks. Isn't yours Polar? The picture doesn't show well, but I went with the Glacier white.

So we took delivery of my fathers Coupe on Saturday. And my family is in love with the car already. Caldera is a gorgeous color and the propeller wheels in person are so much better looking than they are on the Jag builder.

The auto-start stop caught my father out the first time it engaged and he thought the car had stalled. My brother and I are both not sure why anyone would describe the throw of the stick shift "long" it feels shorter than the throw on my M235i which also has a ZF 6 speed in it, possible the same casing actually.

So far my biggest issue with the car is that there are no touch points on the doors to other than paint or glass, so they're finger print city. But as far as issues go, I'll take it.

My mom and dad are visible (just barely) in the second picture.

I admit, and this is likely horrendous, but I have a small black rectangular bumper sticker that I might put somewhere. It's an old Fugazi quote, "YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU OWN". LOL

Ritz,

Thanks. Caldera is my new favorite red. It's somewhere between Salsa and IRR and non-metallic, which I favor.

Beautiful car!

Big pimpin. That looks really nice. I'm thinking maybe red on white would be it if I were doing it again.

Anyone else find the electronic parking brake strange? I'm having a hard time getting used to pulling/pushing a button to deploy the 'hand brake'. I'm so paranoid about leaving the car without it deployed.....

Yes, I find it very strange and somewhat unsettling. The lack of hand brake is going to take some getting use to. The other thing that is really making itself known is a lack of footrest for the left foot when doing longer drives on open roads that do not require shifting.

You'll get used to it, and you''ll have to because it will soon be standard fare on all vehicles, even on relatively inexpensive cars. My new Jeep has it.

Do I assume correctly the p-brake doesn't serve as an emergency brake? That's what makes me nervous. Over the past 4+ decades I've needed one at least twice.

I think the owner's manual describes using it when the car is in motion. I don't have it in front of me though.
