Same here: VIN not showing up yet on the WW site.

I highly doubt Jaguar uses a consecutive numbering scheme when it comes to their VINs. Assuming your VIN is 27733, that would mean Jaguar has built 5000 16MY F Types in 4 months, and there is no way they are building 15,000 a year. Mine is 22771 built in 1/2015.

From what I have read, the last 6 characters (positions 12-17) are indeed sequential, but for the factory production (VIN position 11=8 for Castle Bromwich), not the model production. This would include F-Types, and probably XFs and XJs.

And this makes sense, I could totally see 15,000 of all 3 being produced each year. I'm dying to see the VIN list and find out how many F Types were produced before mine, but I doubt I ever will.

I have been monitoring the auto RoRo action in Southampton after the fire aboard Courage. For a week or so, nothing happened, probably while the insurance adjuster end figured out what happened. The Courage was moved, and 4 RoRo ships were there today. Integrity and one called Ivory Arrow took on cars and sailed tonight for Baltimore. Another ship named Lord Vishnu sailed for Bremerhaven, possibly with German cars for inspection / rework from Courage.
Now Tamesis is tied up and taking on cars, set to sail in a few days. I am guessing that because W&W have no record yet, it may still be at the factory?
Bad week for shipping cars from Europe to the U.S.

I don't have the current numbers at hand but it was around 30'000 XF's and 15'000 XJ's per year "average" a few years ago probably even more now.

It takes a day or two to show up on the WW Web site. Hopefully your cars are on the Integrity now.
>>It's good that WW had Integrity when they found out about their lack of Courage.

I'm starting to get a bit worried. I still don't have a VIN number (as of Friday June 12th when I asked my sales guy). He initially thought they were ahead of schedule but I'm hoping the original build date (which was the week ending June 12) means that I will get a VIN early next week(??) and the car will ship with the others.....

So as I don't have any info from W&W yet, I am guessing it did not make it on either Integrity or Tamesis. That means next chances would be Parsifal or Resolve.
Integrity sailed from Southampton on June 12th, arrives Baltimore June 22nd
Tamesis sailed from Southampton on June 13th, arrives Baltimore June 22nd as well
Parsifal sails from Southampton on June 17th, arrives Baltimore June 25th
Resolve sails from Southampton on June 21st, arrives Baltimore July 2nd.
Past that there is Fidelio, which sails from Southampton on June 24th and arrives in Baltimore on July 5th.
Don't worry about not having a VIN. If yours follows the pattern mine did, you will get a VIN next week or early the following.
