WHP expected on v6s 380 Hp before and after mods.
Hi guys,
I find a lot of dyno in bhp.
I try to find the real whp on stock rwd v6 380
I will go on a dyno tune with upper pulley upgrade next week by Viezo. I know he will test before and after on dyno but I want to know what I need to expect.
Some one have already done this?

Any numbers we give you will be irrelevant; every dyno reads different and every dyno run is done on a different day. The delta between two runs is the only thing that matters, and correction factor or not, you're gonna see the same things.
Was Viezu your only option? They would not have been my first choice... Lower pulley is certainly a better upgrade as well. Very little to be gained on that upper pulley.

1. Viezu reports 28 hp increase in midrange for the 5.0 upper pulley swap. I would expect the gain to be less, as the delta from the pulley swap is less on the 3.0. They Also report 38 hp with tune alone.
I will say use this forum and the ftype UK forums to look for dyno data. IMO It’s a pretty big decision and impractical to switch after it’s done.
2. Tbh you should expect to be disappointed, that way you’ll enjoy the gains . But in all seriousness, as mentioned above, the lower pulley is a better choice
Good luck!

As Stohlen has indicated, WHP is going to vary greatly based on what type of dyno you choose. A Hub based dyno like Dynapack is going to show much higher numbers than a locked AWD mustang dyno. I would second the comments about the upper pulley. The crank pulley is the ideal one for the V6, as it already has a smaller upper pulley than the V8, and you'll see very little gain with any of the sizes we've seen so far.
