Why do I hate this car?

Why do I hate this car?
I've had my ftype v8s convertible for almost a year. The power and sound of the ftype are incredible, but the handling and creature comforts kind of suck compared to the 9114s. Why can't they stuff the ftype v8 and exhaust into the 911? Why can't we have it all in one car? You might say the 911 turbos have it all, but elastic acceleration and dolt sounds out the back also detract from the experience. The next step up the food chain is a 458, but you can't park it anywhere. Where do we go from here? Might be time to push the reset button and go back to an M3/4? Oh, but turbos don't do the killer soundtrack and are too heavy. Vette? Too goofy looking. Where do we go from here? Cars are better than they've ever been, but none seem to have it all. WTF?

That's an unusual name. It must be the same guy who used to live around the corner from my friend, over in Danville, CA. As I recall, back then he was restoring classics. That was quite a few years ago ...

Again, just my opinion, but I think the F-Type is the better car.

Back when I was doing my research into what models of cars might replace my 2006 911, a newer 911 and the F-Type R were the only things that made my final list. I ended up with the 2015 R and love it.
One of the posts that I ran across in my research (I can't remember where I read it or whom to give credit to, so apologies if I butcher it too much) went something like...
The 911 is like a fine instrument, and the F-Type is like a hammer. And sometimes it's just more fun to go apeshit with a hammer.
Some people would prefer the fine instrument. I'll take my hammer

The AMG GTS might be the "perfect" car south of $150K...but I'm still not sold on the looks. I've seen it a few times now in person and it just doesn't jump at me. I love the way the AMG SLS looks, but the AMG GTS has that odd rear. Very few cars look great from all angles, but should look great from at least one or two angles. I still get that "wow" feeling looking at the f-type from the rear and side 3/4. The AMG GTS lacks that "wow" for me...but maybe it'll grow on me. The non-S next year should be about $120K, which would put it more in with the F-Type R range.

This car is one of the best looking outside of truly exotic. What is it about the interior? I like it, if I hadn't I never would have bought. Value at a price is relative and Porsche is not a value proposition, nor is AMG. I think the new GT is a legitimate alternative to Porsche and Jag. I don't believe you can start to include Mclaren as they are the base of the next group. When the base GT comes out you'll see a lot more and then the roadster, which will look different! I don't drive on a track so track day means nothing to me. Porsches are severely over priced as evidenced that it is the most profitable car company! AMG's are all over priced, I know I owned one, but not because of performance, they're Mercedes. The best buys come down to personal taste, Corvettes,R8's,Jag's. Audi and BMW don't have a range to compare to. I know plenty of people who buy Porsches and can't stand the ride, which is why there's always plenty of low mileage ones available. The ride and sound is reason many F TYPE's are sold with low mileage.
