Why not organize a low-key road rally like the old Spinetti's Poker Run? As I recall, the routes around highways 49 and 88 were lots of fun to drive. You could all end up at one of the Amador County wineries, as I'm sure they'd love to host an event that draw's such great looking cars.
Or, maybe a tour through the Delta with crossings using some of those old free ferries crossings? Definitely worth a selfie/ussie. Since you guys are from north of I-80, you must know of some decent drives up through Chico, Paradise, Lassen, The Olive Pit, etc.
If nobody shows up, you can still have a great afternoon. Right?
To paraphrase an old president... "Ask not what your car club can do for you. Ask what you can do for your car club." <grin>
Good Luck... count me in as an emeritus.

On another time I went over to the Blackhawk Plaza for dinner and I saw 5 F Types parked though out different areas of the parking lot so I don't think they where together and that didn't include my car either.

- Pick a spot. Make sure it is free. Some people will not like the spot.
- Pick a date and stick with it. Don't ask or debate. There is no one date that will work for everyone.
- Announce the event months in advance, then again one month in advance, three weeks in advance, two weeks in advance, one week, 3 days and one day. Someone will ask 'Why didn't you announce this?
- Pepper every social media platform. Go to forums, Facebook, MySpace, whatever.
- Go to Cars and Coffee. Bring a little card with the info on it Be sure to say 'Free'.
Seriously, it's a bit like herding cats, but the interest is definitely there. The funny thing was as we were leaving the event, we saw another F-Type heading the other direction!
I've had some more ideas, but time work and Covid stopped them at the pre-planning phase. I'm in talks with an Aston Martin groups that is fairly active in the area to setup a 'Friends of Ian Callum'. It's either that or F 'n' AM. I have a venue in the Sacramento Area that is a nice looking location and they just recently held a Ferrari event. This is in pause right now due to weather, weather and more weather.

I'm in Reno and would be interested in any event where I can talk to other f-type owners. I see only one other f-type driving around town, maybe twice a year. I'm sure there are more somewhere here. Some Sac Valley Jag events events might bring us Reno f-type drivers into the light so we can find each other.

Shoot me a DM if you want to go for a cruise sometime.
