i/m not bothered too much about the 0-6 time. In fact, I have a 2016 "S" with a six speed and for a four year old car, it still looks better than any vette out there. And that is worth more than a second or two on the stop watch to me. The problem for me ( and this is my personal view only ) with a Vette is that it looks like its tryingto be something it cant be. It also look cheesy. No finesse. I much prefer the C7 look to that of the C8. But thats just me. Park it side by side to an F, and the F gets the looks.

I agree the C7 is better looking than the C8, but also a dime a dozen. It would take $15-20K just to bring the orange peel and body ripples up to a Jag quality paint job, if thats possible on fiberglass. It was the first thing I noticed as I walked up for my Z06 test drive, at $107K MSRP I already knew that would never work for me. The leaf spring suspension, too.
