A road F-type as wide as an 18-wheeler....
To extend the car width that far, custom arms and hubs will be indeed the (good and safe) way forward.
Extreme offsets, and huge adapters are only good for premature wheel bearing failure.

The change from vertical gills to the horizontal that's now on the R is the design element that I dislike most on the newer models. I'd rather have the space be left open. When my 2020 is delivered I'll have to see if it can be hidden with some black vinyl in a way that won't look even worse.

I may may have just done something about my like of the new front end but I leave that for a separate post

Never been a fan of the horizontal strake, but painting it black looks great IMO.
