Default Wide Body F-type
Ok so no one has made a wide body kit for the F-type, except for some mock up photos or games sites, Liberty Walk seem to be main fabricators of such kits, if it ever came available would anyone go for the look.

Check out the wheels on the carlifestyle pic. Negative offset.
The others probably use adapters.
The real one uses racing hubs.

Notice how they all use the original shark gill type front grill and the one has with the P7 open front grill (no bar). Reconfirmed in my mind that the original was best rather than the gaping openings it has now.

The change from vertical gills to the horizontal that's now on the R is the design element that I dislike most on the newer models. I'd rather have the space be left open. When my 2020 is delivered I'll have to see if it can be hidden with some black vinyl in a way that won't look even worse.

To extend the car width that far, custom arms and hubs will be indeed the (good and safe) way forward.
Extreme offsets, and huge adapters are only good for premature wheel bearing failure.

I painted mine black to bend in better and reduce the obviousness... still wish it was empty but you’d have to make a custom mesh part as the strake backing section is molded for it to land on.

I myself like the R version with the horizontal bars. While I like the my current shark gills I find the horizontal bar treatment gives it a lower wider look. The big gaping holes on the SVR have never been a favourite of mine...my opinion of course.

I may may have just done something about my like of the new front end but I leave that for a separate post

Never been a fan of the horizontal strake, but painting it black looks great IMO.

Agree, seems to make it more of a subset of the larger opening and in keeping with the black horizontal grill bar (that nobody wants).
