Default Widest tire size

Hey guys, quick question… I’m looking for new rear tires for my f-type S on H & R lowering springs and like anyone with an f type I want to go with the widest possible size I can run on my stock 19inch wheels. I want to know if I can can go wider than 305 without fitment issues? Thanks

On my STOCK height car I am on 305's in the back and 265's in the front, continental dws plus....they are also 5 - 7 lbs lighter than the same sized bridgestones. The Michelins 295 are pretty wide too....use the specs sheets on tire rack to see how the 305 in conti and bridgestone are about the same as the Michelin 295.

The Michelins get noise over 5k miles in my experience...very.

The Michelins and Bridgestones weigh 5-7lbs more per corner.

The so called mushy conti's are not that in the "plus" model of the dws...so I went conti and could not be happier..

Since you lowered your car, have no idea if 305 will work for you. I don't use spacers....factory 20's.

If you are AWD, you need to keep the revs/mile close or you'll damage the system....I'm fine on the 265 in front and 305 in back...etc. It was the SVR stock size.

Hope that helps.

If you're running the factory 19" wheels, the widest you can go will be limited by the actual tire. The rear rim size is 19x.9.5. The maximum width you can use is a 285.
