Will the hood bonnets on a Jag F Type SVR AWD fit on a Jag F Type V6S AWD
I love how my Jaguar F Type V6 British Edition AWD looks and drives. I noticed that the hood bonnet on the AWD version of the SVR (red pic) matches the same shape and positioning on the hood of my V6S (white pic).
2 questions....
1) Will the SVR AWD hood bonnet actually fit on my AWD V6S? Has anyone tried this before?
2) Where can I purchase these SVR hood bonnets? I could not find them listed for sale on any Jaguar aftermarket accessory website. I assume these SVR bonnets are just black plastic...not carbon fibre.
Thanks!

1) I don’t know l, but a dealer should be able to help here (I think the part numbers below would work too). My “guess” is you can find original Jaguar parts that fit.
2) I considered doing the very same thing (US MY16 R AWD). I found a “pre-owned” pair on eBay, but have at them (they are in the UK), search on part number T2R16703 or T2R16704. It’s says they are carbon fiber and priced like it too; they look different than the photo of the red hood. You should be able to find the parts on any website that sells original jaguar parts by searching on those numbers also.
There is a video on YouTube of a guy replacing his hood scoops, another of my “guesses” is if you buy those parts, you need to reuse part of the existing pieces (the black part in the photo of the white hood).
I have carbon fiber roof and fender vents, $600-1400 US is too much for me for CF hood scoops, I thought about “hydro dipping” my hood scoops CF pattern but decided not to.
Good luck!

You could get the primed versions and have them Hydro-dipped CF...
